Justin Halpern’s #shitmydadsays twitter account has moved him out of his parents house and into Hollywood. Unlike copycat accounts coming out like “shitmy(insert name here)” , that are as bad as you would expect and hope they stop embarrassing themselves soon, Justin’s twittering never gets tired. After being courted by studios, he settled at Warner Bros. to create the show based on his account. With a powerhouse team (David Kohan, Max Mutchnick, James Burrows) that can make this show having staying power, CBS released a clip of the pilot for viewers. I was there for the taping and it was pure comedy. Ryan Devlin, who plays Justin, was not strong enough to act alongside William Shatner (Justin’s Dad) and the execs thought so too. He’s been replaced but no word on who will be taking that part. Check out the clip below.
And for the record, I’ve met his dad and he’s exactly what you’ve imagined.
