‘Entourage’ Re-cap: Bottoms Up

Posted by Jon Wiener on August 2, 2010

Entourage!

Entourage is now 5 episodes deep into it’s 7th season and each episode contains more bang than the last.  This definitely holds true in “Bottoms Up”, considering all of the dirty dirty plot-lines.  Allow for me to explain…

Vince: The leader of the pack is riding high on his many successes and does not hesitate to enjoy the finer things in life.  It turns out the object of his affection is now porn star, Sasha Grey.  It is, however, her quest for knowledge that intrigues Vinnie.  Did you know that she reads a book a week?  I’m thinking she’ll be slacking, since it seems she will be a regular on Entourage.  Sadly, Sasha’s inclusion into Vince’s life may hurt his career.  He took her to a meeting with Stan Lee, who definitely recognized Vince’s guest.  Ruh Roh.  Oh, they also came to the meeting smelling like Tequila.  Speaking of Tequila…

Turtle: Our pal Turtle is taking all necessary measures to sign Vince as an endorser for this brand of tequila that his could-be-girlfriend is involved with.  Vince agreed to do it, because bros look out for bros!  This came as a surprise to E, who kibosh’d the idea originally.  Speaking of E…

E: Mr. Murphy has two separate areas of focus during this episode.  He and Sloan try butt-sex with little victory.  E also has to deal with Johnny Drama’s show with John Stamos.  Stamos has been MIA since their ping-pong tournament and apparently wants to get E’s other client, Bob Saget, involved instead of Johnny Drama.  Speaking of Johnny Drama…

Johnny Drama: Johnny’s furious that Stamos wants Saget instead of himself.  When confronting Saget, he states that the part was written for him.  What Saget informs him is that the screenwriter told that to every actor he contacted with the script.  Talk about drama!

Oh, and then there’s Ari…

Ari: Ari has not been pleasing Mrs. Ari in the bedroom due to work-related anger issues.  It turns out Lizzy, his former employee, has been going around town and poaching his big clients.  We managed to get a few scenes with Mike Tyson, Jessica Simpson and Aaron Sorkin.  Oh, and Lloyd bought Jessica Simpson a puppy.

So it seems like one way or another, everybody is getting screwed in the Entourage universe.  Can’t wait to see what happens next week!
